R-Mail for Outlook Express is a handy and easy to use application that allows you to recover damaged or deleted Outlook Express files and email messages. The recovered messages can be saved in the .eml format and can be simply imported into Outlook Express mail and news bases. You can either manually select the files to be recovered or scan your entire computer in search of all Outlook Express e-mail messages or *.dbx files, where Outlook Express stores folders with email messages. All the files found are presented in a tree view. This demo version presents some limitations such as the impossibility to save messages and open them in Outlook Express or see message attachments, and some mouse buttons in the Preview Pane are inactive. It also offers different speed options; you can either copy before browsing or copy before recovery.
The user interface is really intuitive and simple, very similar to Windows Explorer and it does not include any complex option. It supports Win98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista.
